Who Is Wanamaker Restoration?

Wanamaker Restoration consists of Ronald Wanamaker and his partner in life and preservation Amy Mentes. Since 1988, Ronald Wanamaker has specialized in preserving, conserving and restoring historic structures, furnishings, and art objects. In 1998 Ronald moved to Burlington Vermont and continued to ply his trade and expand his knowledge while working on residential, commercial, and institutional projects throughout Vermont. Amy with a background in law enforcement and social work joined Ron in 2007 as a project manager and shop painter/glazer.

Located in Burlington’s Southend, Wanamaker Restoration continues to work with local businesses, state institutions, museums and private owners throughout Vermont to preserve and render historically accurate reconstructions and restorations of buildings, furnishings and art objects. With a full window restoration shop they provide services and education to local homeowners looking to maintain the integrity of their historic homes.
